Hi, i'm looking for advince, for a good router to cover all my house and the back yard. (diameter around 200 feet)

My budget is around 350$ CAD

I want to connect multiple pc, tablette, phone and be able to stream hd video.

I think AC3200 can be a good speed for that.

I'm looking for those model. Are they good ? Do you have other sugestion ?

So I my recommendation is that you go with a slightly lower spec router and get an AP to go with it. So maybe a TP-LINK AC1200 on one end of your home and a Ubiquiti UAP-AC-LR to get the most the widest possible coverage area.

According to Wikipedia 2.4Ghz has about a 230 Feet in door range. Now keep this in mind, thats in a lab not in the real world. 5Ghz is only rated for 115 feet. So you may have to do as @tewynkoop stated and have multiple wireless AP's. I have heard good things about the Netgear router. I also have heard good things about ASUS networking products as a whole. Keep in mind that your phones and tablets wont have AC 3200 wireless chipsets. Hell many laptops dont even do that speed most of the time. It seems most modern day laptops at least that I have seen do AC 1750. You really didnt state how big the house is, but if its multiple stories then you may also have issues, or need more AP's.

You could buy one of these routers and test to see how well its works. If you place it in the center part of your house it might get good results. It depends mostly on the building materials of your house, as well as any other sources of interference. If it does not work then having another AP might be your only solution. I would like to mention that roaming between AP's is possible if you have the exact same AP, so if you mix and match roaming might not work. As roaming to my understanding is not part of the IEEE 802.11 standard. So it just means you might have to switch between AP's yourself as it might not be as automatic. When I say roaming, its the process in which AP 1 would hand you off to AP 2. This is what happens when you move from Cell Tower to Cell Tower. But, according to Linus's video where he installed Ubuquiti AP's in his house, Roaming is not always smooth. For most applications you shouldn't have an issue.

If it were me, Id try either the ASUS or Netgear router. Place it in the center part of the house and see what happens. Because if you do have to run a access point, the AP will need to be connected by wire to the router. So, it really comes down to how much work you want to put in it. It might mean only having a 2.4 Ghz in your yard for example. As the 5Ghz does not have the distance or penetration power. So much of the signal can be lost by going through the walls.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Thank

I would HIGHLY recommend getting a cheaper router (or using one you already have) and disabling the wireless, and then getting two Ubiquiti Access Points.
