GTX 850M is an IGP?

I was just researching about my laptop's GPU, as I was interested in the prospects of upgrading it. According to Tech Power Up's website: http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/2538/geforce-gtx-850m it says that the GTX 850M is an IGP. I was surprised, as I thought most GTX mobile cards are considered as dedicated. Surprisingly, it also states that it utilises a PCIE x16 3.0 interface. So I have 2 questions:

1) Can I upgrade/replace this card?

2) Why is it an IGP?

Thanks.

What laptop do you have? the GTX 850M is often soldered to the motherboard itself, much like the more popular version of the 860M. There were two versions, Kepler and Maxwell, with the latter being better in all aspects.

Likely it's called an IGP because it's soldered onto the mainboard itself. I know of no laptops that actually have a 960M that isn't soldered onto the motherboard itself for that matter.

No it's not an integrated GPU. The integrated GPU would be the Intel HD Graphics that the CPU has. I'm not sure why TechPowerUp refers to the GTX 850M as an igp.
