Hello there!

I've got a question and I'm sure a lot of you guys are able to help me out right now.
So, I'm currently trying to buy a NIC to add to my local machine.
The NIC Card I want to buy is a Intel PRO 1000 PT Dual-Port, is it still worth buying such an old card?
I'm convinced it would work because its not going to be at full load 24/7.

This is how I'm going to set it up:
Disable onboard Realtek crap NIC (Half-Dead and crashes at times and requires me to restart the machine at times).

Use 1 NIC for all Default traffic (Both public and private traffic).

The other NIC for the control subnet (This subnet is JUST for remote controlling my servers, this is shielded from all other subnets)

Later on I'll be building a Micro-ATX PC for remote controlling the network so I can use both NIC's in LACP for ~250MB/s (~200 MB/s prob) transfer speeds to my NAS.

Please comment your thoughts, I'd appreciate it.

Clients: Windows 10 Pro
Servers: Windows Server 2012 R2

I'm fine, and I know I won't get that full theoretical 250MB/s because of TCP headers and stuff.
I know that appart from heat, power usage and stuff these cards haven't changed a thing but a 2006-2009 Card still sounds sh1t ;)

But getting 1 for €25 ($28-ish) Incl. shipping is still a great deal ;)
