i7-4790k

Running my i7-4790k at 4.8ghz, with an H110i cooler... I get 83C max on AIDA64 running for a few minutes.

Is this temp safe?

I want to reset my bios and see regular temps... but, I don't want to lose all my settings.

83 is pushing it, but for AIDA level workloads is safe

Yeah that is good still as long as your temps are below 85C and in most situations you won't be constantly loading it to 100% for extremely long periods of time.

Fun the stress test longer than a few minutes, a few hours minimum. Temps creep up slowly over time, and since you got to 83 in a few minutes, you definitely should run out for a few hours to be sure.

Also I recommend occt or intel xtu for stress testing. Aida needs a lot longer to ensure stability
