First time watercooling looking for tips/alterations

Go to solution Solved by urworstnit3m3r,

Based on post, I have chosen not to watercool, saves me money anyways, Probly just get a pair of NF-f12's for my cooler.

Okay so here's what i am looking at doing, almost everything black with white tubing.

What am I looking for in replies, general advice or things not to do or things you might change.

Also this will be folding at night, which is one of the reasons I want to watercool and do plan on adding a second 760 and overclocking both.

3770 non-K at 4.3Ghz? How is that possible? I'd change that part to a 3770K. Also, if your budget is restricted, wait for a while, and stock up. A 760 isn't worth watercooling. I'd much rather scrap the whole watercooling process and put that money into a better GPU.

Looks good, though IMO a 760 isn't really worth watercooling, neither is a locked i7.

Since you've got white tubing and are going for clear coolant, why not use distilled water and a kill coil or PT nuke?

It is possible to bump it up a little, at lease with my board.

But what's the point of spending so much on a custom loop when a 25$ 212EVO would do just as well?

I already am using a large air cooler, Thermaltake frio. Are the new 700 series not as loud as the older 570 gpu fans?

I'd say get just one and see if it's enough first. If it's enough for the heatsink, just getting a NF-S12A for a rear exhaust fan next to the cooler might make more of an impact than a second fan for push/pull.
