custom Final build part list. Judgement please!

Hi, 

This is the first time I'm building a computer and I would like some opinions on my choices regarding compatibility (mainly the GPU and SSD). Any criticism or advice is welcome! what do you guys think?

1. Budget & Location
Below 1500 euro. This is currently 1450 euro's

2. Aim
Gaming, VR, programming and server management (so a bunch of downloading and file transferring). I also want to keep sound to a minimum. I hate noise!

3. Monitors
An ultra wide monitor.

4. Peripherals
Nothing special

5. Why are you upgrading?
I currently have a laptop and I would like to play some VR and build my own computer. I also hate the laptop fan noise.

Do you think I can run vr without overclocking the i5 6600k? I'm not a fan of overclocking and would definitely love to avoid it.

DDR4-3200 is a bit overkill right? Most people say past 2800MHz you wont see any gains...

Looks like a pretty solid build to me. Assuming you already have the Monitor since you don't have one on your list.

A very rare occasion...

@Kristian H A 650W PSU would be able to handle SLI 1070s easily. 750W is just overkill

one thing i would consider is switching the gpu to GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming from Gigabyte if you can get for the same price. Its quieter and has better cooling.

The other thing you need to consider is case fans and what way your going to manage your air flow through the case.

Looks good, I personally would go for a dark rock because of looks (but it is as silent and powerful as the noctua)

actually the noctua slightly edges out the be quiet but the dark rock pro is quiter

but they are in the same performance range. AFAIK only 2-3°C max difference. BUT the dr looks way cooler

For programming u would be much better of with 2 screens. U can use one in portrait, its amazing that way

With ultrawide u are fine for movies and gaming but work not so much.

Ah honestly i just picked this because it was like 10 euros more  I'll look into downgrading the overkill things such as this then and maybe save money for a new keyboard thanks!

Actually I haven't really done much research into that. Could you or anyone else recommend some monitors for under 400 euros or dollars?

Edit: If you're not goind SLI then even a 550W powersupply is enough, 750W is just overkill...

Ohh ok I'll maybe downgrade the motherboard. My concern with getting a lesser motherboard was the compatibility with both the gpu and the SSD since they both use a pcie slot i think. I'll look more into this now though thanks
