Dual 980's or Single 1070?

I currently have an MSI GTX 980.  On ebay I've been seeing many 980's going for ~ $350 now and i've been tempted to pick one up.

However with the GTX 1070 price range being so low, would it be worth it to get a 1070 instead.  I figure I will have to wait a while to snag the armor edition of the MSI 1070 i'm wanting.

 

I just need some input.  I feel like i'd be wasting money in the FPS/Dollar sort of view, if i went with another 980.  Plus i'd be doubling down on my 4 GB DDR5

the 980 cf would probably be better

however, cf is usually lackluster across games, so i would personally sell the 980 and go for gold

Actually now that I think about it.  If I sell my 980 to get a new card, I can easily afford a 1080.
