Will my air flow setup work?

OddsCrazyStuff

http://www.performance-pcs.com/phobya-wacoolt-cube-1-medium-watercase-black-aluminium-edition.html

So 9x 120mm with rad in roof as intake, replace fan mesh on doors with window (door mounted rads/fans are a pain to deal with), add 2x 120mm in 5.25 for HDD cooling and bottom air flow.

Will it work?

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

top should be exhaust not intake

to prevent dust

So I should switch 9 of my 11 intake fans as exhaust?

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

Or he could someone find filters that size.

More likely that I will need to find someone to make it for me.

Unless I can just cut up 3x 360mm once.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

You'll get dust no matter where your intakes are.

Though 9 fans sounds like overkill to me.

Its an 1080 radiator, so it wants 9 fans.

With dual motherboard setup so will I need that amount of cooling to be able to overclock.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

yes, and have sides+bottom as intake

filter on the top of  case look bad

its nicer to just have fans blow out the top

also heat rises, so that helps a little

more dust if you intake from the top

Its the same as having 3x 360mm.

That is still 8 in and 9 out. 2 of those are even in the bottom chamber, so they wont feed the top rad.

Plus there is the issue of fans mounted on the doors.

Yeah, but its a good option for this build.

doesnt matter

just run the exhaust slower

you dont need fans to be at 100%, thats too loud

Its still 9 out and 6 in, which would be hard to figure out how to best run.

Is there so much dust with top as intake?

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

really depends how much dust your environment has

stuff like other people, pets, carpet, that all adds up

and its not really hard to know whats best to run, just set the top fans at like 30 or 50% and run the intake fans higher and you're good

I ended up getting the extra windows. So will I figure out when I get it, what I end up doing.

After all, if I cant find a good solution to the fans on the panels, then I will just live with the extra dust.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.
