My plan is to have aircooling for atleast 1-3 years before getting water cooling, why? beacuse of money and priorities.

the fans im thinking of are the corsair AF- SP 120/140mm Series And using the Corsair link cooling kit. idk where to mount the different models and sizes for best efficiency. i want it to be quiet tho.

the plan is to switch out the 140mm rear fan and fill up all the other fan mounts but not the 2 fans on the non window side of the case if you understand. Thanks for your time, sorry for poor english. -Viking

Why would you want a 900D? Get a 750D or something like that (a define R2 XL would work and it's silent)

My Pc: Cpu: I7 4790k @ 4,8 Ghz @1,25 volts, Motherboard: Maximus VII Formula, Graphicscard: 2x Titan X @1,4 at stock voltage (soon to be replaced), Ram: 32 gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 Cl 9, SSD: 2x 850 Pro 1 Tb in Raid 0, 2x Samsung 840 Evo 1 tb raid 1,, PSU: Corsair HXi Series 1000W 80+ Platinum, Case: H440. Soon to be watercooled again, maybe, probably, the Titans are too loud.

Don't get the 900D,get a 700D. Don't get a WD Green, get a Seagate Barracuda. Don't get a 770,get a 7970.

If he is getting an AMD card then he should wait for the new cards. And WD Green aren't bad anymore there ok (obliviously he has to add an ssd cause all hdd's are too slow...)

The R9 280x in simple terms is a 7970. It's like comparing a 680 to a 770 they're very similar. I assume the R9 290x is out of his budget. Also yes WD Greens are better now but Barracudas are faster, cheap and a lot more reliable.

So your budget is around 2k rigth? (I added it up to 1,8k+ fans) And your ssd is 500gb?  If would have to build one for 2k I would go for this config: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1JiWH + whatever graphics card you like (A gtx 780 or an R9 290x maybe)

Nvidia cards still have those features amd won't have, maybe he need physx and CUDA. I agree with 900D if you're planning on heavy watercooling later on (like the overkill rig by linus) otherwise the 750D would be perfect.

I don't notice them being any louder over previous WD's. Yes, in my 4 servers all I run is Barracudas now. To many WD failures.

Ah, and for the guy saying something about the fan controller!

i maybe have accidentaly earsed that part, but im thinking on how to connect dem fans up and stuff like that

AND one more important thing, NO Noctua fans, they are ugly just no! idk why they havent tought of a more neutral color scheme, they would get their sales up probly by like 100%

@SnowcooledViking , you're going to hate me for suggesting yet another thing but if you're not in the US then you should get a Swiftech H320 instead of a H100i. I can't change your mind if you want Nvidia but you might want to wait until the 15th for the R9 290x and see what it has to offer.

May i ask why not use H100i? i live in norway and we have this scandinavian company making gaming computers and sell parts, its like ncix. There are many good reviews on it

The H100i I by no means bad it's just that the H320 is better. The top of the 700D fits a 360mm rad and the H320 is a 360mm rad.

I would go with 750D. And hold off on your GPU selection for now. Wait about a month or so.

On number of fans. Unless you really want to have jet plane on your desk, go for 2x140/120 front, H100/i with push or pull top. If you can fit one 120/140 bottom, it could provide cool air to gpu. Or you could have PSU fan up to intake hot air from gpu. But don't fill your case with fans. Its not really needed to keep system cool.
