Day 17: getting hungry

Day 17:

I am still without a working PC. MSI has yet to even unload my mobo off their RMA truck and scan it in despite receiving it 4 days ago. I hope that if and when it comes I will not run into the same problems I encountered before. One of my USB 3.0 header's pins were bent so I sucked up to MSI in a letter included with my shipment. I have been stuck on a 2014 Macbook Air provided by my school. I have already exhausted time-wasting options like watching all four seasons of House of Cards and have been continuously refreshing Newegg for the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW. I have not eaten any FPS since the day my beloved was taken away from me. I worry that when I return my membership to the PC Master Race will be honored.

Send help.

Sincerely,

bill

Dunno bout you, but when I was unable to use my computer for a while, I sank my time into finishing off a list of anime I had made.

nearly 30 shows later, I had blown nearly a month of my time, and was able to use my rig normally again.

I do understand the feels of not having a rig around though, and even worse the daily grind of watching a shipment's tracking number just sit at once place for days and weeks on end. (Thanks massdrop. 2 months overdue on that headset and no updates from staff or anyone, real good on ye.) But just don't lose hope. Someday it will be yours again, and you can reascend the steps into the glorious master race heaven.

This is why I make sure to keep a handful of non-demanding games in regular rotation so if my desktop died and I was stuck using my Android tablet or my netbook, I'd still have games to play when I'm bored. Right now I've been playing a lot of Brawlhalla which can run on basically anything running Windows (I don't even need to lower any settings for my $200 netbook to play it on any monitor/TV) and since I use a Logitech controller I don't care about the keyboard or touchpad at all. :)
