I7-2600 NON-K bottleneck my 2x970 sli?

Hello

I have a i7-2600 non-k with two 970 in SLI.

When i play GTA V my CPU is around 85-100 load all time. Both GPU's is running/jumping around 60-80% load.

Does my CPU bottleneck my GPU's? I got a great offer on a i7-5820k should i go for that? :)

if your CPU usage is at 100% and GPU/s are less than 100% that would normally be a bottleneck, but I do believe it is different with an SLI configuration since the work is split between the 2 cards.

maybe at 1080p but 1440p they will shine. Cpu not fast enough to keep both cards loaded when its only 1080p. You wont notice it very much you would just have increased fps from a 6700k as opposed to a 2600. I think your cpu is good for another year for sure then id look to get a new zen cpu or a x99/z210 cpu/mobo.
