Good for the money, won't blow up as it uses quality components, it's a safe PSU to buy :D

Hi guys,

Eventually i'll probably buy myself a modular PSU with with new rig. I'd like to know what you guys think about the SeaSonic 750W Bronze Series Active PFC 12cm Fan Modular M12II-750?

What are you powering, where are you located, and what is your budget?

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

I'm from israel and the budget is 500NIS (about 150USD)

You could power that system on a quality 500w unit. Do you have a link to the store you are buying from?

The Delta build Antec VPF550 is a solid, non-modular unit for 291 NIS / 75.17 USD. http://www.tms.co.il/product/15894

If you want a better unit with modularity, the Seasonic G 550w is a good option for 435 NIS / 112.37 USD. http://en.ksp.co.il/?uin=17674

750W is fairly overkill for something that will only consume around 350W under full load and heavily overclocked.

I suggest going with a higher quality 550W EVGA GS or G2 power supply instead.

'Fanboyism is stupid' - someone on this forum.

Be nice to each other boys and girls. And don't cheap out on a power supply.

For 150 USD (if it translates over in NIS properly) you can get an EVGA GS/G2/GQ 550W-ish unit for less that will suit better since 750W is a bit overkill. Two 1080s would be justifiable for 750W but then I'd probably choose a slightly different 750W unit if that were your plan anyways.

As @quan289said, the Seasonic G-series is a better buy for the money and for your build.

Thing is EVGA PSU's aren't available here, and ordering one from Amazon for example means paying about the twice the price because of shipping
