80 deg C is fine..?

Yeah but I don't like it. All my buddies have their GPUs at around 50 in an ATX case. Also, I'm looking at going VR soon so getting a 1070 and it should have more heat output, right?

Check out the Corsair 88r. Plenty of room to mount your 100i in the top and have 2 intake fans in the front and exhaust at the rear plus the 2 on your 100i

Is non windowed version available? I feel a mITX board will look silly. The air 240 is like the only case that has cable cutouts for mITX even though it's mATX.

Not specifically for the 88r no. Closest would likely be the 100r which is a slightly bigger version of the 88r and is a standard ATX case though.

The Fractal Define Nano S should pump nice air through the system. And the 1070 shouldn't be too hot, but a good cooler will obviously help.

Both case I have considered but I'm scared the Nano S airflow is bad because of the small slits.

Are both good?

Paired with good fans the "small slits" will do nothing but keep dust out and your temps will be fine.

50? Under load? Impossible if air cooler at room tempurature. Also, the 1070 will produce around the same amount of heat as a 970 (ish) whilst having much higher performance.

Probably getting Corsair LED fans for the front, quiet ed. I currently have a 140mm corsair quiet ed that I can put at the back in the new case.

Unless I should get totally different fans.

Maybe I undershot it a bit, or they're lying.

And how do 970/1070 heat compare to GTX 770 heat?

I was not impressed by my SP120 Performance edition noise wise but they did cool exceptionally. Fot the size of the case, quiet edition fans like that will provide ample air imo.

I have the SP (pressure ones) quiet ed for my rad. I'm looking at getting the airflow ones for the front tho, not pressure, would pressure be better in the case of the nano s?
