Just saw a guy on the forums asking about his computer and i f it was ok, when asked about his budget it was stated that he has $206 dollars and, %95 of it was his cpu. I know this wont be a true gaming pc, but lets try and make the best gaming pc for this $206 price NOT A PENNY MORE.

Please PLEASE don't make the same mistake I did. I did this a while ago and regretted so much. 200$ is NOT enough for a gaming PC

not ever 300$ or 400$m,,, $500 would be the lowest I would go

Get that pc and throw that gpu in it

If you can find a computer on eBay with 4 cores are at least 4 gigs of ram that would be your best bet ~100$

The GTX 750Ti Is a good gpu and is extremely power efficient so if will work will rebuild crap power supplies

What do you intend to play on this machine, the trailer for GTA 5?

I was running a win10 virtual machine w/ 2GB ram the other day, and it barely had enough to run the OS and visual studio. Can't imagine how that would work when using it as actual daily driver.

For this cpu + gpu, it would probably be better just to get a cpu with better igpu.

But at this budget, it's a terrible idea to buy new. Get used deals or save some money to get a proper build, this is a waste of money and time.

Ive actually built this one (not because of the guide, but i got the parts real cheap. i got the cpu,gpu (xfx 2gb), 8gb of ram, and motherboard (though it is an asus one so it can overclock which i got up to 2.5681) for 100 dollars so i decided to get a case, power supply, hard drive (1tb) and a 120gb ssd) im waiting on a wifi card for it, in the mean time i have a usb one hooked up to it.  r7 250 is at 1100 on the clock and 1040 on the memory.

so i roughly have 220 dollars into that system. the storage could easily be cut back (or the wifi card) and you would hit your 200 dollar mark.

Now i wouldn't recomend it at this point in time, first off if someone is getting an am1 platform the 5370 would be better at 2.2 ghz and a higher overclock potential. next its a dead platform the 5370 is the most powerful processor for it and its not powerful enough as is. I mainly play league of legends and although my frame rate is usually around 90 at 1920x1080 with highest settings, i will get dips into the high 50's. Not a deal braker, but for games such as Elder Scrolls skyrim im playing at 720p at High settings usually averaging 45 ish with dips to the high 20s (lowest i saw was 28). I mean you can game on it quite nicely, but considering the new am4 platform coming out and the new graphics cards coming out (i mean the 80 dollar gpu is supposed to perform as well as a 960) i wouldn't build at this point. older cpus are fine such as a core i3-2100 (which btw sell for around 40 bucks on ebay). and then pop in the r9 460 when it comes out for some really solid gaming).
