Hi! i've been having a problem over the last few weeks/months. My gpu is reaching extreme gpu usage when basicly idle. Whenever i play csgo its fine, But in a game like arma its at 99% in lobby but as soon as i enter a game it goes down. Here is the extremely wierd thing, in games like age of empire or HMS marulken which it should handle fine its at 99% at all times. rainbow six is also at 99% at ALL times.

99% GPU usage is a good thing.

 

You WANT 99% gpu usage when in a game.  That means you're getting full utilization of the GPU.

 

The reason why it doesn't reach 99% in arma is because Arma is a CPU hungry game and badly optimized.

Google age of empires 3. Its a old game. The gpu should not be at 99% Also it gets extremely hot. 86 C somtimes

Unless you cap your FPS and the CPU isn't holding the GPU back, you will be at 99% gpu usage.  99% gpu usage is a GOOD thing.

If a frame cap isn't turned on then it's just going to cram out as many frames as it possibly fan. It's simple.

It is a good thing if you see 99% usage in Rainbow Six: (Siege?).

Rainbow Six isn't a extremely demanding game to run, but will require quite a bit of GPU power if you crank the in-game settings up.
