Planning my first build and would appreciate feedback.

Hey guys, I'm working on a new build and would like to see if anyone can find areas of improvement in this build.

Some quick background: I'd like to buy this by the end of July, I live in the US, have a budget of 1500-ish (+- 200 at most but I'd like to keep it as close to 1500 as possible) and looking to go for a blue/black color scheme.

Intended for 3-D modeling (solidworks), multimedia(video and audio processing mostly), gaming, and research (tons of tabs, good amount of applications running at once).

I don't really know much about OC so I'm not looking to overclock anything anytime soon, but also don't want something that'll go obsolete anytime soon.

I appreciate the help.

Edit: You guys have prompted me to do some research, thanks for the input.

yes kinguin has 10 pro for $20-30. Also it's a solid build but now that Skylake setups have dropped to roughly the same price you can go with that too. either one would be good though

CPU: Intel Core i7 Extreme Edition 3960X | Motherboard: Intel DX79SR "Stormville" | RAM: 32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series DDR3 PC3-12800 (4x 8GB) Quad-Channel | GPU: 2x EVGA GTX 970 FTW 4GB in SLI (I have Many other builds plus 100+ Macs (don't judge me)... Many specs are listed on my profile)

it would be the best if you gave us your budget which i assume is about 1500$ and tell us what you need, right?

For all that modelling and multitasking this is probably perfect.

This plus a Windows 10 key and you're golden.

If you make a post contradicting mine that doesn't directly address my claims, or cites 'facts' without evidence, I'm probably not going to bother responding to it, because you probably didn't bother reading my post properly, and because life is too short. It doesn't mean I don't have an answer for you. It means I'm not dignifying you with a response.
