Get a capture card for the ps4. The ps4 has a protected hdmi signal so you cant record it directly. Use obs with the capture card. Your pc should be able to handle it. I record my pc with a capture card connected to my spare pc. I have a roxio gamecap hd pro, and i don't recommend it. Too finiky to set up, because it defaults to 720p resolution. And the program is shit. And obs studio is still a bit unstable with recording from the roxio.

You can use a free software like OBS to stream PC games on Twitch.

PS4 has built in functionality to stream on Twitch, but the bitrate is meh and you can't have an overlay and stuff. Get a capture card for the PS4 (like an Elgato HD60, or HD60 Pro, or something by Avermedia or whatever) and you can stream directly from the program they have. Or use OBS for example to get the input and add an overlay, facecam, etc.

A capture card shouldn't cost you more than 150 USD I think.

i want to stream/record both from my PC and PS4, whats the easiest way to do that? i have a budget of around 200$ if i need to buy stuff

For PC you don't have to spend a dime, I use OBS and it is both free and open source. OBS is amazing for recording on PCs BUT for PS4 you will need a capture card.

Linus reviewed a few capture cards so I'll leave the links here cos I'm not an expert on capture cards.

Really Simple. I use it all the time. Took me like 2 minutes to configure it the first time. After that, just click and record....

It is easy. The settings might be a little confusing if you don't know what it means but you really don't have to touch those things.

I find that the traditional "Classic" version works better than the new version barnacules shows off.

whats best avermedia or elgato?

Linus reviews the Avermedia ones , so naturally i'd trust them more.

And also I've heard people with lots of issues with Elegato in the past.
