okay, i need help with designing my new pc mid tower case. It's going to be laser cut and for now im using maker case for the general planning. i would really like your guys help for layout and exhuast design.

Do you have a photo of the current design, that file format I can't open. Also what materials are you planning on using for everything, acrylic?

measurements are in milimeters but i can get them in inches, if you want?

im planning to use 2mm steel and/or thicker acrylic with some engraving.

Finger jointing doesn't really work with metal especially thin stuff, if you set to using finger joints going for thicker acrylic sheet is your best option say 5mm or more. For steel cases your going to want to look into bending all the pieces and riveting or tig or ideally spot welding, only thing is with welding is distortion becomes a big issue since it's thin material.
