Does anybody have any experience with refurbished psus?

Currently I am looking to get a new psu since mine is having issues, and was wondering if a refurbished corsair ax750, rm750 or hxi850 would be more reliable then something like the new cx series psus.

If anybody else has any other suggestions for a psu under $70USD and at least 650w(preferably somewhat modular) I would appreciate the help.

That is actually the psu that just died on me, it is semi modular and I was looking at getting a better quality one.

B1 aren't really that good in terms of internal component quality. You can get a better one for less.

The new CX550M is quite reliable and using a better standard than older PSUs.

Any of those refurbished are great as Corsair fixes them themselves. The HXi is probably the best of the three but they're all good.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

Personally I'd go with something new if you can afford it because a warranty should cover any failures. I've not yet had any problems with my cx430. The CX650M looks good to me but I don't know what the US pricing is.

The refurbished ones I was looking at had a 1 year warranty on them.

I think I might go for the refurbished ones if corsair fixes them then at least they should be about as reliable as new.
