on really nice mother boards there is a cover on the rear io and im not talking about the io shield but it make the motherboard look a lot nicer ill put a pic on here

I'm almost positive it's just an I/O Shield. Don't think there is another name.

If you say I/O shield, people can also think of the part you put on the case to cover the holes between the ports, but ya, that's an I/O shield.

While it's accepted, according to motherboard manuals and the U.S. Journal of Computer Science (scholarly article -"What is this Thing" issue 506 page 22) the correct nomenclature is "I/O Cover".
