Posted June 6, 2016 Here is the basic run down. I am helping a friend build a computer and his budget is locked at 400 us dollars, this budget also has to include windows. he wants to play pretty much cs go and similar games. He doesn't care about super ultra graphics just so the game can run as it can not currently run on his prebuilt. Any recommendations is gladly accepted. If the case has a side window he would love it but not required. Thank you!
Posted June 6, 2016 He should honestly just save up, you can get anything that would really be worth getting for that budget. If he does absolutly need somthing the fx-6300 would be the cpu for this build

You have enough money left over to bump that power supply up to a more reliable model (Seasonic S12ii ?) Edit: I forgot about the cost of the OS, but even so, Biostar is sketchy as well. i5 12600KF | Zotac RTX 4080 Gaming trinity | Team Vulcan 2x16GB DDR4 3600 | ASRock Z690M-ITX/ac | WD Black SN850x 2TB Cooler Master NR200P v2 | ID Cooling Zoomflow 280 XT | SeaSonic Focus SGX-750 | Thermalright 2x140mm + 2x120mm aRGB LG C2 OLED 48" 120hz | Epomaker TH80 (Gateron Yellow) | Logitech MX Master 3 | Koss Porta Pro Comm
 Would have went for something better but it would have compromised his performance. Posted June 6, 2016 @BlyduJynx- see if your friend can hold out until the new Zen CPUs and APUs come out, as well as the rumoured $100 Polaris GPU (The RX 470?).
