Sorry if this is a dumb question, but the USB cord that runs from the card to my motherbord, does it have to be plugged in? I'm out of USB 2.0 connectors so I can't plug it in. thanks in advance :-)

Id try it an see. My guess its for the Bluetooth connectivity. So you might not have Bluetooth.  

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
