Out of all the brands and types of 970s, which one is the absolute best for gaming? Please help :)

i would say HoF is probably the best, but its expensive and a huge waste of money. dont get a 970. just wait for the RX 480 and see how it stacks up to a 1070 and the get one of those because 970s are no value anymore if you cant find some awesome deal for a used one

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

None, it'd be bad timing to get a GTX 970 now. Wait for the RX 480 - current rumours put it at GTX 980 (priced at $200) but we'll know for sure when benchmarks come out in a few weeks.

If you're in the US I wouldn't pay more than $160 for a used 970, and not even bother purchasing a new one. If you're not in the US, I'd wait for the RX 480 to come out.

getting a GTX 970 now is a waste of money, either wait for the 1070 or the RX 480. literally only a few weeks to go.
