Hello there!

Earlyer today I was working on my laptop, until It instantly powerd off, like (paf ... nothing). I didn't know what's wrong, so I have tried to power it back on. After I pressed the power button ventilators started blowing out air very fast and loud for 2-3 seconds until it powerd back off. I thought it over heated, so I have waited for 2h. After that same thing happend again ... again ... and again... (I tried to power it back on for a whole day). I have also tried to do a Hard-Reset (or whatever it's called) but it didn't work. The computer is out of warenty, soI came to this forum in hopes, someone could help me.

Laptop:

HP Probook 650 G1

Best Reagards, Janez (Johnny)

P.S.

I apologise, for my very bad english :( (I'm from Slovenia).

I'd firstly try resetting the CMOS, if that doesn't help then I'd re-seat stuff and if that doesn't work then send it off to a repair shop, you could try fixing it for yourself but it's always better if you don't know much about how the computer works to send it off to someone who's guaranteed to fix it.

If you can't get the laptop to boot it's possible that the thermal module (think that's what it's called) could be faulty. If for some reason your laptop assumes your cpu is over heating it might stop the boot process.
I'd recommend booking it in for a diagnostic check at a computer clinic. Some might do this for free, they'll tell you what they think the issue is and quote you for it.
Best of luck.
