Hi,

I'm looking into building a server on a budget. I already have the board from a previous build, but wanted to start using 19" rack compatible cases. I found a reasonably cheap one, but according to the manufacturer, it only supports ATX and M-ATX. I looked at the pictures, and the mounting holes seem to be compatible with ITX though. I really don't want to take any unnecessary chances however, so I was hoping you could help me validate this. The case can be found at http://www.fantec.de/en/products/server-products/19-inch-server-storage-cases/produkt/details/artikel/1670_fantec_src_2080x07/

Sorry that the website is in German, even after changing it to English. The pictures should still be same however ^^.

Again, thank you!

Also, I don't need alternative recommendations, I'm just wondering whether it will work or not.

Yes, but why go with a 2u server? go with a 3 or 4u server because you can use larger fans that way and larger fans spin at lower rpms thus make less noise

it can fit motherboards of up to CEB

classic case of "RTFM"

(yes, thats purposely not formatted correctly)

they dont state official ITX compatibility, so most likely you'll run into some kind of issue, but the standoffs *should* still line up.

basicly: yes it should fit, but you're on your own if it doesnt.
