Need help 'building' a cheap but reliable PC

Gazeley

Hey I came to this forum, from NCIX Tech Tips on youtube, in order to seek out help on 'building' a PC. When I say build I mean going to a site like PC specialist and inputting specs for a computer as I have no experience in building or modifying computers.

I have a budget of around £600-£700, which I know is not a lot, to build a desktop in order to run games like Overwatch and Total War: Warhammer.  I have played around with designing my own balancing numbers in terms of computer specs against cost and most of these had AMD CPUs however whenever I mention AMD to someone they dismiss the idea of ever using anything made by AMD.

Is there a reason for AMD being less popular and could someone help me making a decent PC please?

Sorry if. I have posted this under the wrong topic I'm new to forum posting.

For the GPU, wait for the 480 to be realest.

A mod will move this to the New Builds and Planning soon ish.

The only way i think you can is flag it with the "report this content" and say can it be moved.

One of the most important thing for a stable and reliable pc is a quality power supply I would love to give you a link to te powersupply ranking post on this forum but I'm unable to atm. What I can tell you is if ur not in a hurry wait for the RX 480 launch in ur country
