do i need to turn off the PSU switch when turning off my pc ?

I mean

when I turn off my pc

I then turn off the switch button on my power supply

then turn off (cut) the power from my UPS

then I unplugged it from the wall

 

my question do I need to turn off the switch button on my PSU

before unplug the power from the wall ?

No, you do not. Just make sure system has turned off before doing it.

Since you go as far as unplugging it from the wall, I don't see the need to flip the switch everytime.

Why do you go through all that? Shutting down is more than enough.

Why do you do all this?  If you have proper electrical equipment installed in your house,  shutting down should be enough and surges shouldn't be a concern...

Most modern PC has a "turn on by LAN" function, so it will use some power, even when shut off.

So its a good idea to flip the switch, when you leave if off for longer periods of time.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.
