If your buying a gpu, then athlon, not buying a gpu then A10. Its just that simple, forget that, get a fx 6320. The crossfire stuff creates problems and then you have to buy expensive ram for it to actually work half decent.

cpu: intel i5 4670k @ 4.5ghz Ram: G skill ares 2x4gb 2166mhz cl10 Gpu: GTX 680 liquid cooled cpu cooler: Raijintek ereboss Mobo: gigabyte z87x ud5h psu: cm gx650 bronze Case: Zalman Z9 plus

Get FX 6300 + Gigabyte 970A-UD3 motherboard and call it a day.

Or get some cheapass mobo for FM2 + Athlon X4 750k (FX 43xx without l3 cache) and call it a night, but it's at least cheaper.

Either way GET A DEDICATED GPU IF YOU REALLY THINK ABOUT GAMING! :)

So... If Jesus had the gold, would he buy himself out instead of waiting 3 days for the respawn?

CPU: Phenom II x6 1045t ][ GPU: GeForce 9600GT 512mb DDR3 ][ Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P ][ RAM: 2x4GB Kingston 1333MHz CL9 DDR3 ][ HDD: Western Digital Green 2TB ][ PSU: Chieftec 500AB A ][ Case: No-name without airflow or dust filters Budget saved for an upgrade so far: 2400PLN (600€) - Initial 2800PLN (700€) Upgraded already: CPU

Athlon X4 750K is AMD A10-5800K without iGPU, so Athlon X4 760K should be AMD A10-6800K, I would suggest go for 760K if its possible, as there are few tweaks and it overclocks better. Get a good A85X and OC crap out of your 760k/750k, but dont forget about cooling.

And get a good GPU, 7950 if getting cheaper and GTX 760 is a good alternative. Dont worry about bottlenecks or expensive ram, Athlon dont need hi speed memory.

paying 50-60 bucks more doesnt matter? when you could be buying better GPU instead?

I believe they are the same CPU, so whatever is cheapest and if you are getting anything higher than a 7870 for the GPU, get a 6300

Well me being me, i am bound to make my 7870 combust, comburst, or just fail, having onboard for the wait between GPU's is useful

I have a 85x motherboard with a A10-6700 and1866mhz ram (8 gigs), I put my HD7970 in that system to see its performance, its awesome.

that 7970 will stay there forevah, im firing up my 7870 crossfire again now that the framepacing tech arrived.

I built an mItx system for lan gaming, i went with the locked version of the A-10 because I liked the idea of lower TDP, and since turbo boost takes it from 3.7 to 4.3 i thought it was awesome, and I am very pleased with it.
