Yes, there will always be some level of bottlenecking, but not anything significant where you will need a platform upgrade from a 3770k. You'll be fine.

Though on second thought this gameplay on Witcher 3 by Tech of Tomorrow shows the 1070 just barely staying over 60 fps in battles at 1440p medium! So maybe it's not really a 1440p card. I mean what are new games going to do to the 1070 if Witcher 3 pushes this card so close to the edge at medium?
