Spots from Isopropyl

Go to solution Solved by Pesukarhu,

The alcohol probably caught some dirt (or flux, or dust or something) and when it dried off, the stuff got left behind. Try cleaning a smudge with the alcohol but be careful.

I would not recommend cleaning cards like that with liquid. Dry dust, blow it off, can of air maybe, or if you want it really clean, an hour of your time & Q-tips...but liquid to clean a PCB of dust...not something I would do.

I tried air but it was like it was stuck to the card. I've viped it down with a soft brush a second time and it seemed to help. Don't have any Q-tips at home and i need to finish today :P

Use a air compressor set to no more than 50psi and a fine soft brush and just bruch and blow at the same time!

Oh, it's that kind of dust. Yeah you'll have to get abrasive but I still wouldn't turn to liquid. I'd go out and buy a box of Q-tips. Cheap, a box'll last you forever and gets that sticky dust off.
