That's really strange, I get higher fps than that with my i5 4460 and GTX 760 and have less RAM allocated... I assume you have the latest GPU drivers? Check temps, probably not but it could be throttling. Forgot to disable your 128x128 resource pack maybe? xD

yep latest beta, 41c (watercooled) i'm using a 512x512 resource pack

Then its just what you're doing, or rendering in game.

Even in vanilla I've built project that would tank fps. My last factions base with my team brought our fps down to near 20 in the grinder room due to all the hoppers, chests, sorting systems, and spawners; none of us have particularly weak rigs either, so its nothing to really worry about.

Uh, yeah think I found your problem. 512x512 will do that. Disable that and you will get huge FPS gains, as the base textures are 16x16 :)

Most times you won't even notice the benefit above 128x128 unless you get up quite close

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

I have a EVGA GTX 970 an intel i7 4790k and 16gb of RAM and I usually get 60 fps flat... but if I change around some settings it usually gets to about 200-300 fps and I have the fps slider set to unlimited so idk what it is.
