Should I install Windows 10 on my SSD or HDD?

Go to solution Solved by vanished,

With an SSD, it will be faster to bot, faster to logon, and faster to load programs.  More importantly though, it will stay fast forever, unlike an HDD where for whatever mysterious reason, causes Windows to just get slower and slower until it's unusable, forcing you to reinstall to reclaim your original speed.  I really don't miss those days ;)

I am ordering a new PC build with a 1TB SSD and 3TB HDD and I want to know which one I should install Windows 10 onto.

Will it take up much room?

What are the benefits of having it on an SDD rather than HDD?

SSD. Windows and program will load much faster than if you install it on your HDD.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.

Use HDD if you find your computer too fast for you, and you want it to slow down.

Use SSD if you find your computer too slow for you, and you want to get the most you can.

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
