Case fans for my new build?

Hi,

I'm waiting for the 1070, but I want to line up the rest of my build now. I have a mastercase pro 5 for a new complete build. I want the best air cooling possible and from what I hear, Noctua is the best. The mastercase supports 3 120/140mm fans in the front, 2 120/140 at the top, 1 120/140 in the rear. Is it possible to have too many fans? I'm thinking I want 6 Noctua 140 fans. Do you all think it's a good idea? Should I configure them so the 3 front fans are intake and 2 top and 1 rear are exhaust? Any suggestions for different fans are welcome. Thanks!

Here's the rest of my build:

not possible to have too many fans but more fans=more moving parts which usually=more noise :P

Also, do you really need 7TB of storage? How much of your collection do you have to store ;)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

I have the 2 wd blacks from my last rig and it would be retarded to not get an ssd for my new build.

Too many? only if you literally pack it full of them. will it be a waste of money to throw 6 fans at it? Yes, there's a diminishing return on performance, I'd go with 4 and do a neutral pressure or very slight pos/neg personally

What configuration do you think I should go with?

Plus we can really never have too much storage as long as the price is right. With bluray and 4k it makes a tb seem smaller everyday!

without modding, I'd do the bottom and middle front for intake, rear and rear top for exhaust and go for neutral pressure.

If modding was an option I'd cut a hole in the side to pump air straight to the gpu, one front intake and leave the top and rear. A side intake gets you a couple extra degrees cooling, and I just prefer it, won't actually do much unless you're right over the line and thermal throttling

If I go no mod, what should i do to keep the empty front top slot from being a wide open dust magnet?

iirc the front on that has built in filtration, so as long as intake=exhaust (neutral pressure) or intake>exhaust (positive pressure) you shouldn't have a worry, when exhaust>intake (negative pressure) you get your computer sucking in air from any old crevice, high negative pressure or unfiltered intakes are what make a dust magnet
