Major Crackling coming from motherboard rear audio port

Hi.

 

So, all weekend, I had my trusty MacBook plugged into my main setup. I use RCA splitters to split my audio.

 

I turned my gaming PC on for the first time since Friday and I was getting the faintest bit of audio out of the right channel, and when I increased the volume the crackling came back.

 

I know that the cable isn't damaged, I've tested it on other devices and I'm currently using the same cable plugged into the front panel audio plug.

 

Please, someone help, it's paining me to not be able to have my rear audio, mainly for convenience purposes.
