Asus vg248qe prob

Greets! I bought this 144hz monitor,plugged it in my r7 370 with an dvi-d dual link and it just doesn't show  me the 144hz option at screen resolution....I tryed everything and yes,i have the correct cable,the correct monitor,latest drivers for both: monitor and gpu.Tho still nothing happens.I tryed with an hdmi 1.4a still the same results.Someone told me that it might be the fact that i have w7 on 32bits...Can this be the thing? Also worth mentioning i have the AMD SAPPHIRE RADEON R7 370 2GB GD5 version

You can create custom resolutions in the control center application. You're not restricted to the ones that show up in what used to be Display Properties.

 

Right click on desktop , amd radeon settings , preferences ,radeon additional settings , my digital flat panels > custom resolutions .. click on new, enter the resolution and Hz and test by clicking the Verify button.

it says that the settings are not compatible with the monitor... My monitor is 144hz tho..
