No single gpu will get 144hz in most games excluding things like COD but a used  980ti or a 1070, maybe 1080 if you want as close to 144

Every gpu ever is "compatible" with 1080p 144hz lol.

Different question is, what gpu is able to run games on it.

What games are u gonna play?

You will be fine with an r9 380 or gtx 960 and u can play with ultra settings

950 is enough with low settings

any gpu is compatible with any 1080p 144hz monitor, the question is just what gpu can REACH 140fps at 1080p, to even benefit from such a high refresh rate.

I'd say a 980ti, 1080 or 1070, but you would need to lower some settings in some games to get 100+ fps

Longboarders/ skaters message me!

If you just want the GPU to run a 144Hz monitor, then any will do that... and as @XamN has said if it's for playing games and you want to get high frames then you need to say what games you play.

Please quote my post, or put @paddy-stone if you want me to respond to you.

LOL cod is not that demanding at all and why would you even play that game? Have you heard of turning the settings down?

OP a 970 can do 144Hz in most games, so the 1070 will be pretty good for 1080p 144Hz, but you should maybe wait until AMD has showed off their new GPUs

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

A 970 can't do 144hz in most games wtf? Also I kinda just said cod is not demanding so that is a game you would expect 144+fps. Turn down settings what does that mean some kind of hack?
