That's highly suspicious that it would just now give you issues after all these years.  Assuming your install really is legit, I have to guess this is some sort of virus. Have you run a tool like Malwarebytes to scan and remove issues?

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.

Have you tried to go to control panel > system and activating it?

If not you can roll back to windows 7 to reinstall the windows 10 upgrade again.

Where did you buy the copy of windows, was it for around 100 dollars. Was it included in a prebuilt/oem?

Malwarebytes is a great tool for removing various kinds of malware (viruses, trojans, etc.)

If this issue of yours is in fact some malicious program trying to trick you into buying something from a bad company, it should find it, and it should remove it.
