Custom 1070 coolers?

jett473

sort question, anyone have a good idea of when we'll be seeing custom 1070 coolers? We've been seeing some for the 1080, and I was wondering if we'll be seeing custom 1070s around the time the reference is released because they already made the custom coolers for the 1080. Forgive me if that's not really something they can do, just me being wishful.

If my idea is complete bullshit, when might we see them then?

also, general thoughts on the EVGA cooler, the supposed gigabyte one, and the water cooling?

aftermarket coolers already exist for the 1070

they just havent been shown yet

you should see them about a month from now before the 1070 is released since the 1080 is coming first

I wouldn't expect third party coolers right our of the gate.
They do have an inventory of FE cards to sell.

available a month from now, or just revealed?

because either way, 1070 is only about 2 weeks from release I thought, since it comes out on June 10th. so...aftermarket alongside reference, or after?

On June 9, you will see some of them :P

But since GTX 1070 and 1080 have same PCB, we can expect same design aftermarket coolers as they use it for GTX 1080.

Also we haven't seen any real benchmarks for GTX 1070. We don't even know if any of those card were given away like 1080 was gifted to like 100 people at nvidia event.

JayZ2cent said in his video today or yesterday, that aftermarket coolers for GTX 1080 are comming few days later than card itself from nvidia, so I guess it will be within 1 week :)

But at this point we are just guessing.
