I can't really overclock my gpu. I have an EVGA 750 Ti SC (ASIC value of 85.5% Doesn't matter apparently) and whenever I try to do an overclock, it'll randomly go to idle clock speeds and will require a restart, which will usually fix it. It shows no signs of instability (such as artifacting or crashes) and increasing the voltage doesn't do a thing. Unless I'm running furmark, temps stay below 50C. With furmark, they go a degree or two above.

Any idea why this happens?

No. It literally just runs at idle clock speeds. I can be in the middle of the game and it'll suddenly slow down from ~60 fps to ~10 fps. I've kept it at stock for the past few months so I'll OC it again tomorrow and tell you what happens exactly.

Put the sliders for power target and voltage all the way to full.

You sure about voltage? And as I said, upping the voltage didn't change anything.

if you're overclocking always max them, you can always lower it once you find a max overclock but they don't hurt anything.

If you've maxed both, hate to say it sounds like your's doesn't overclock.

If that turns out to be the case it would suck.

At least it comes overclocked from the factory.

Yeah, it does suck but it happens. If you have dual bios you could try a different bios but honestly not worth it. If you have any overclock on your memory you could try to zero that and just overclock the core, that sometimes works.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
