For those that missed it @ASUS_ROG teased a card that is likely to be their GTX 1080, and it looks like it uses RGB lighting.

Wonder if this will be cheaper than the Founders Edition?

I spend too much on my PC. Then I spend even more on my Sim Rig. Damn, this stuff's expensive.

RGB on the bottom? Unless you have a case like the lian li pc-0xx series or rvz02 that will kind of look bad... I mean, ZOTAC did one with an RGB backplate.. Why can't asus?

Inb4- asus strix rgb

Well looks like they are now starting to come out of the wood works ,will be good to see how they come out ,just hope they do not candy them up to much. Or make them look like a kids toy lol.

If they make it RGB i just hope they have a simple button on the GPU it self to completely turn it of.

If i do end up getting 1 it will be the 1070 and water cooled with backplate .simple and easy as that.

Why bother getting a 1070 and watercooling it? For the price you could get a 1080 and have more performance :P

I think we may need to wait slightly longer for the aftermarket designs and coolers - all the partners seems to have focused on the Founder's Edition cards up to this point (they actually have them listed on their websites as well): https://www.overclockers.co.uk/news/get-notified-on-the-nvidia-gtx-1080-founders-edition-graphics-cards-99.html

why ? cus i have water cooling in my system already .would be very strange looking to have a 1080 not water cooled ,besides for the price give or take i can get the block for the 1070 and call it a day with a back plate purchased later on .i think there is going to a hell of a lot of people that are going to water cool a 1070 ,considering it's performance it would be a great move. Lets not forget it beats a titan x (still yet to be proven) so we can all just calm down and wait for actual benchmarks to come out .
