Hey guys,

I'm planning on doing a build for gaming and light video editing, I also want it to be compact,

as I'm traveling atleast twice a month.

Here's what I've came up with untill now:

Case: Corsair Air 240 mATX (100$)

Motherboard: MSI Z170M MORTAR (140$)

CPU: i7 6700k (400$)

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 16GB DDR4 3200mhz CL16 dual channel kit (92$)

PSU: Corsair RM550x 80+ gold (105$)

For CPU cooling I'm either going with the Noctua NH-D9L air cooler (60$), or with the

H105 all in one from Corsair (125$), still haven't decided on this.

For now I will be using an 240gb SSD for storage that I already have, I plan on upgrading with an m.2 samsung 951

in the future and for the video card will be getting an gtx 1080 or an 1070 now and adding a second one later on, waiting to see the prices they will have around here.

The prices are all local.

Any ideas, suggestions? BTW I will be needing as much of the budget I can for the 1080 hopefully, if it won't have a

crazy price like some stuff is really overpriced here (Romania).

Since you travel so much, I suggest you get a gaming laptop of some sort.

But that will be:

1. more expensive in general

2. less power for the price

3. if he's not taking it onto public transport or planes then it wouldn't matter than much :D

Exactly, all the traveling is done by car, and I don't need to take the monitor with me.

Thank you, I will be looking into those, but most of those parts are hard to find here, and the shops that have them are overpriced.

for most countries there are websites that compare prices. maybe ask in a local forum.
