i use for more design but i wouldnt mind little bit of gaming if needs must thank you

Pure performance: i7 6700k > i7-4790k > i5-4690k.

However, that is also the list from most expensive to least expensive so it really depends on your needs.

without knowing 100% i would say i7 6700k

 

simply because ive had better luck overclocking Skylake cpus

in aussie land 6700K = same price as 4790K

 

not sure if good or bad xD

Oh wow now that I look at it, they are the same price here as well :P. It seems like I need to update my info since DDR4 is actually the same price as DDR3 now as well. My bad.

That won't work. That motherboard is not compatible with the 6700k (you need a LGA1151). That means you also need to buy new RAM (DDR4 in stead of DDR3).

Havent tried the board, but the 6700k will fit, now you just need some ddr4
