Mouse Tracking on mouspad

Hey guys, simple question here, i have a mousepad (img_4108.jpg)

the green part can disturb the sensor and ruin my precision, or using the black part is pure bullshit?

mousepads are meant to provide good tracking

and the sensor in your mouse doesnt see colour, it sees texture

so it should track the same on any colour of mouse pad
