it would be nice if this happened , but i HIGHLY doubt it

I mean, we haven't seen much proof stating otherwise other than people arguing the semantics of what mainstream and enthusiast is. I always thought that the Titan/1080ti level was the enthusiast platform considering that's the flagship chip.

We also have some bits of info that suggest P10 and cut-down GP104 competing - Similar die size (GP104's 33% cut down die lands at 235mm^2) and similar processes will mean that whichever wins will come down to clockspeed and architecture efficiency. We don't know how each will overclock though.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

You can check out the old one that gave joy to so many across the land here

nVidia didn't do it so hopefully AMD wont

Weeeell, not completely cherry picked but they were in my opinion highly duplicitous with their 2X the performance!.....in VR

As well as the fact that the card just doesn't runs that cool they basically set the fan curve insanely high. So it's not like they were completely honest if you ask me.

I'm myself only interested in the GPU news and not APU.

I hope AMD will manage to catch up and compete to at least nVidias mid-range GPUs. Sure nVidia will still lead in the top segment with the recently announced GTX 1080, the coming GTX 1080 Ti and Titan based on Pascal but it's only a small percentage of costumers who are gonna invest in top-range GPUs. Most PC-Gamers aren't running 4K monitors to begin with.

The mid-range market with focus on Dollar per FPS is much more interesting and with competition that's where capitalism really shines.

Really wanna sew new Console-killer Builds that are also quiet and efficient.
