Hi,

since I'm planning to upgrade to a 21:9 ratio monitor, I'm wondering what games do actually support it.

I have searched for but didn't find an actual thread/list on what games are compatible with it.

So would it be possible to start an actual list of the games that do support or do not support it?

Cheers

So far every game i tried supported it without a hassle.

Some however, like CS:GO, have a fucked up menu. But the game itself is fine.

Most of the games that I've tried has supported it. And some games have partially supported it.

And for all the games that don't support 21:9 there's Flawless Widescreen

Nice, do they recognize it natively or do you have to mess with a fix?

Most do natively.

Just make sure you have the horsepower. for 3440x1440 a GTX970 or up would be recommended.

I have a Titan X with a 21:9 from LG. 99% of the games I've played support it very well and most even scale to the 21:9 ratio without much fuss at all. The only exception is games like CS:GO and RUST which instead of filling up the extra pixels, instead decide to just stretch out. The only somewhat-issue is with a few games that have Menus or UIs that don't scale nicely with 21:9 and put all the stuff on the extremities, again like rust or have black bars during cinematics/menus like GTA: V.

lol which cod? BOIII supports it just fine. As does BOII (those are the only two I've played recently).

google "ultra wide gaming forum" and they have a list of yes and no's regarding if a game youre playing will be supported. as many have mentioned though, support is pretty great now. Metal Gear Solid, on release, didn't support it for Phantom Pain or Ground Zero, but the modding community fixed Ground Zero, and amazingly enough Konami patched Phantom Pain and supported it without modding.

Fallout 4 was another that was iffy at first, but ended up with Native support. I gamed 21:9 for a while and loved it, still do from time to time, but mainly just use surround on my tripl 24" displays. When surround is not the best choice, I throw it onto my 21:9 accessory monitor and play there. And if that doesn't work from support, then I throw it on my center surround monitor. . . but that's rarely the case now-a-days.

That's odd! Mine runs at 2560x1080 natively. It looks stretched if you forget to change your FOV to 100 or so. That quickly fixes that issue :-) Check your FOV and the resolution to see what its set to

Menus are, even in surround the menus are not optimized. But gameplay is perfect - but again, its related to FOV. The menu has a locked FOV which forces it to be kind of off. But the game itself runs great. Give it another go!
