Confirmed reference cooler

Just been tweeted https://twitter.com/AMDRadeon/status/382942152977694720/photo/1

I know that people have already seen the cooler but at that stage it was not confirmed.

Edit: Look towards the bottom

What does this have to do with a reference cooler?

BF4 being confirmed (as AMD title meaning it will likely be a part of Never Settle Forever) is nice though. :).

You mean this thread.

With these pictures:

AMD-Radeon-R9-290X-Hawaii_21-635x357.jpg

AMD-Radeon-R9-290X-Hawaii_31-635x357.jpg

Though I suppose there is a difference between "confirmed" and "those pictures".

If it really has those ugly red streaks on it then they made it ugly.

Thank god i'm watercooling.

I do not see everyone's problem with this design. I think it looks both awesome and beautiful.

It is supposedly an erupting volcano. Which fits. And if it fits, it sits.

Not sure I like it. Do you think they made it any more quiet or better at heat dissipation?

Anything I write is just a comment, take is as such, there is no guarantees associated with anything I say.

It looks cool, Not as polished as Nvidias reference cooler on the 780 but a lot of us buy cards with non reference coolers anyways...

I like it much better than the glossy plastic they've been using recently, but it definitely looks nowhere near as good as nVidia's high end cooler. The only side you will see looks rather clean though, which I like.
