I'm trying to figure out which gaming controller to buy...

Looking at the Steam controller, Xbox one, and PS4. I would be most comfy on the Xbox one but I can adapt to new controllers pretty easy. Which one would be easy to set up?

Also would i need bluetooth? I currently dont have BT on my PC so wired would prob work best.

Other recommendations are welcome

Thanks!

I personally hate the steam controller. I just use my ps4 controller.

If you're looking for a controller for the pure purpose of playing console like games, then I strongly recommend the XBox 360 controller. Many prefer it over the XBox One controller. The Steam Controller is very adaptable to games that aren't really meant to work with a controller, but if you're just playing controller based games then it's not as good as a standard controller. I'd get an XBox 360 wireless USB dongle and some XBox 360 wireless controllers. I actually have that setup in my living room right now on a mini ITX rig with a shitload of emulators and steam big picture mode, and it's great.

The 360 controller just works with anything out of the box, so top points for easy, but keep in mind the D pad is an ungodly evil unparalleled in this temporal plane (it's really bad)

Solve your own audio issues  |  First Steps with RPi 3  |  Humidity & Condensation  |  Sleep & Hibernation  |  Overclocking RAM  |  Making Backups  |  Displays  |  4K / 8K / 16K / etc.  |  Do I need 80+ Platinum?

If you can read this you're using the wrong theme.  You can change it at the bottom.
