I'd pay $300 max for a second hand 980 and shoot for <$250.

I'm a mod on /r/hardwareswap and they're trending around $325 right now.

Once 1080 and 1070 release, it'll likely be high 200s like the 780 was after the 980/970.

I would gladly pay $380 for a 1070.

I figure I'd buy a 980 for $200, new.

I'll buy a used one for $100.

Considering the 980 ACX 2.0 with a 1 year warranty is only $360, I wouldn't pay more than $300 for a used 980.

That's cheap but it's also a factory second (B Stock).

It means it is somehow damaged or otherwise failed quality control. All they promise is that it works and the warranty will replace it with another factory second (damaged) unit.

Most of their B stock is actually used.

I'd say around $400-500 CAD is a pretty good pricepoint for a used 980.  USD that'd be like mid $300-400.

Anything less is a lowball.
