A buddy of mine bought a 390X for $380 and I helped him install it yesterday.

I must say it's pretty impressive.  At the moment he's only gaming 1080p.  Some of the games we benchmarked performed well.

I know this card is slightly below the GTX 980 but at that price it's quite impressive.  If the 1070 wasn't on the horizon for the same price with slightly less performance than a Titan X, I'd be all over this card. :D

Wait for both Polaris & Pascal cards to be out, and go for the best performing card that your budget can stretch to.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

please, please and please stop comparing the 10Series Cards to the Titan X. Like seriously...

And also expect the 1070 to be faster than the X

and the 390X is also faster than the 970.

I have 2 290x and yeah, a single card is able to run R6S at basically max settings (no AA however as I don't notice a difference) @1080p and constant 110-120fps which is brilliant :D and I get 75-85fps in GTAV max settings@1080p so it absoultely destroys games at 1080p :D

But wait for Polaris and Pascal however, it will be worth the wait...I know how unbearable it is but still...gotta wait :/

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Also can't wait for GTX 1070 to be released.

But it will take at least few more months for that card to get into my country :(
