Razer core alternative?

Hey guys, do any of you know if there is currently a graphics card enclosure that is out at the moment and not so expensive as the razer core (also can someone explain to me why the core is so god damn expensive). I want to hook it up to my laptop, also would be really preferable if the port to connect to the laptop wasn't pci-e as so i don't have to open my laptop and sacrifice my wifi card. Thunderbolt, usb or type c connector would be perfect, thanks.

maby go on ebay and look for something slighly less legit, its mainy expensve because there isnt much like it, maby getho rig something if you think you can do it, otherwise its ebay or getting a legit one

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
